TCALs Thursday April 30. Sign-up now! :)

Dear Swim Families and Supporters,

Your support for the swimmers by driving, providing snacks, being timers, etc has not gone unnoticed, we appreciate you! As we head into the final stretch of the season it is time to get prepared for the league championship meet, also known as TCALs, on Thursday April 30. We have a few more asks to ensure our athletes are fueled up for performance and recovery and to help staff TCALs. You can use the below sign-up links so there is no need to sign up on SwimTopia.

FOR ECHS: Food/Beverages/Nutrition
TCALS is our league championship and will include multiple schools swimming 44 events with multiple heats. It will be a fun but long day. The athletes and the volunteers won't have time to leave the venue during the meet so they will be relying on food and beverage that we supply. Please sign up to contribute here: Sign up spreadsheet

FOR THE LEAGUE: ECHS has been assigned to fill three timing chairs during TCALs.
There are 6 signup spots to fill, so that the job can be split into two shifts. Please sign up here: https://www.wejoinin.com/sheets/ppmvg

ECHS Aquatics Board 2026-2027
Looking ahead to the 2026-2027 school year, the ECHS Aquatics Board is in need of two parents to step into a role. The Aquatics Board operates under the umbrella of the ECHS Student Activity Fund (SAF), and supports both water polo (fall) and swimming (spring). You do not need to have an athlete who participates in both sports - just one or the other is fine. We need to fill these positions to maintain our status as an officially sponsored group of SAF. The Board is seeking volunteers for the roles of Secretary and Treasurer as we are losing two long-time and founding members of the board (Tracey and Alex) as their swimmers graduate. The board typically meets in person or via zoom about 4-5 times a year, minimally at the beginning and end of each water polo and swim season, and everything else is done by email, mostly approving of expenses. Processes are fairly well documented and veterans Amy and Michael will remain on the board.
Secretary: The role involves preparing/helping the president prepare the meeting agenda doc, and taking and posting the meeting minutes.
Treasurer: The role involves monitoring the fund balances, reconciling with the bank monthly, depositing cash donations, and writing/sending out checks and receipts.

Good luck at TCALs, athletes and Go Gauchos!

Tracey & Amy
